Bible Study group

We meet every other week for our regular Bible study on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month in the Sunday School. For those who enjoy diving deeper into the current topic, join us on the alternate Thursdays.

Men's Bible Study group

We meet twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings, for dinner [locations vary] and diving into the Bible (from 8 - 9pm in the Reading Room.

Vacation Bible School

Is typically in late July. Details posted as we get closer to summer!

Other local Christian Science church events:

  • Second Church in Corona Del Mar holds a Noon Testimony Meeting on the first Wednesday of each month. [flyer]
  • First Church, Costa Mesa holds Noon Testimony Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays.
  • San Juan Capistrano Society hosts a 20-Somethings/Young Adult Discussion Group on the 2nd Sunday evening of the month, begins at 7 pm. [more info]

Special Church Services

Informal Testimony Meetings

Join us on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month for a more casual Wednesday Meeting. Bible selections are from contemporary translations of the Bible, as well as the King James version of the Bible.

Thanksgiving Service - for the community

Each year our church holds a Thanksgiving service. The service includes reading of the President's proclamation, a short sermon from the Bible and Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy, and testimonies of gratitude from the congregation.

Christmas Eve Service

For the past two years, on December 24th, we've held a special service that centers on a reading of the Christmas story and singing Christmas hymns - LOTS of Christmas hymns!

We also hold a separate, singing only, Christmas Hymn sing earlier the season. Each year, around Thanksgiving, we'll post details of the upcoming holiday events.
